Review of Odda Hytte- og Gjestegård

We had a very bad experience with Odda Hytte and would like to warn other possible guests. We have arranged a three nights stay in this guesthouse several weeks before arrival and updated by e-mail on the same day that we will arrive late as we were coming a long way from Oslo. The owner even acknowledged that he has received the message. When we arrived (two families) we found out that he has given the rooms to other guests since we arrived “too late" (20:45). We were stranded in Odda which was full in peak season and had to squeeze in very small rooms in a hotel with no possibility to prepare food and at a cutthroat price.

We strongly recommend avoiding this place.
